City Parks Foundation (CPF) is the only independent, nonprofit organization to offer park programs throughout the five boroughs of New York City. We work in over 750 parks citywide, presenting a broad range of free arts, sports, and education programs, and empowering citizens to support their parks on a local level. Our programs and community building initiatives reach more than 600,000 people each year, contributing to the revitalization of neighborhoods throughout New York City.

How to Find Us

Location and Directions

Central Park SummerStage is located at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. Enter the park at 69th Street and 5th Avenue on the east side or at 72nd Street and Central Park West on the west side.

Subway

East side: 6 train to 68th or 77th Streets; N, R or W trains to 5th Avenue; F train to 63rd Street and Lexington. Enter the park at 5th Avenue and 69th Street and follow the path to East Drive, which is the only large road in plain sight in that part of the park. Once you are at East Drive, you will see the stage.

West side: 1, 2, 3, 9, B or C trains to 72nd Street. Enter the park at 72nd Street and make a right. Avoid the first two turn-offs and go right on the second. Continue following the 72nd Street Transverse through the park until you see the stage.

Bus

East side: M1, M2, M3 or M4 to 72nd Street and 5th Avenue
West side: M7, M10, or M11 to 72nd Street and Central Park West
Crosstown: M-66 or M72 to Central Park West or Fifth Avenue
